RBB's Myra Mack Honoured with Prestigious Award

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Myra Mack has been honoured with the 2025 Provost’s Community Award for Arts and Culture!

Myra, our repiano cornet player, chairperson, and trustee, is the driving force behind our band and has been a member for nearly five decades. Her incredible dedication, leadership, and passion for music have enriched not only our band but also the wider Renfrew community. Myra’s tireless efforts—from nurturing talent to championing collaborations—continue to make an impact that inspires us all.

Receiving this award is yet another highlight in Myra’s remarkable journey, which already includes recognition like the Scottish Brass Band Association Life Membership in 2023. It also adds to the recent success the band has had over the past year. We couldn’t be prouder of Myra and all that she has achieved!
