Scottish Championships 2019

It has been a day of mixed emotions for the band at the Scottish Championships in Perth. The band came 3rd overall in the 3rd section winning the Duncan Campbell Memorial Trophy and our soprano cornet player George Mullin won the best instrumentalist award.

Today was our Musical Director Mark Good's last day with the band. Mark is leaving the band following fabulous the news he and his wife Laura are expecting their first child.

Mark joined the band in 2012 as a young and ambitious conductor. From that day back in early 2012 the band has grown with Mark from strength to strength at it has been an absolute honour and pleasure to have him in our lives. He will be sorely missed.

We wish Mark and Laura all the very best in this new chapter in their life!
