We are a 2nd section Scottish brass band based in Renfrew, Renfrewshire near Glasgow. Formed in 1911, Renfrew Burgh Band is one of the few bands still playing in the Renfrewshire area.

 

We perform at local gala days, churches and ceremonies such as the Remembrance Day Service. We also give regular concerts, organise fundraising events, perform carolling events and participate in brass band contests throughout the country.

 

The band rehearses on:

 

Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.30pm - 9.30pm                   

 

We rehearse normally in the William McMaster Centre, Donaldson Drive, Renfrew, PA4 8LX 

 

We are always happy to recruit players of all ages and playing standards as the band ethos is firmly rooted in the enjoyment of our hobby. Our vacancies are listed on The Band section of the website and we always welcome any player on any instrument to come along just for a blow.
