Farewells and festive fun at Christmas concert
We recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon at our Christmas concert in Neilston Parish Church - joined by a super audience! Renfrew Burgh Band has been coming to Neilston around the festive period for more than 10 years, and it was lovely to catch up with friends old and new at the latest concert on Sunday, December 14. Renfrew Burgh Band welcomes new chairperson
As the final weeks of 2025 draw near, we’re delighted to welcome Shona Jones as the new chairperson of Renfrew Burgh Band! Shona, long-serving flugelhorn player with the band having first joined in 2007, formally took on the role at our recent AGM. It came after the decision by Myra Mack to step down from a position she has held since 2019. What a wonderful day we have had! Some of our members and families started off with a festive brunch at Coast restaurant before heading to Langbank Church of Scotland for our 50/50 Proms Advent Concert.
